Sumir — Su (вода) + Mir (дракон)
Sumir.
Слоган “Strong as a Dragon, Flexible as Water” объединяет две противоположные силы, которые и создают уникальность бренда Sumir:
Sumir = Su (Water) + Mir (Dragon)
The strength of water and the grip of a dragon — a hook that never lets go of the catch.
Water is the angler's element.
The dragon symbolizes power, precision, and control.
Maximum Strength. Razor Sharpness. Corrosion Resistance. Secure Hooking Performance.
The Strength of Water. The Grip of the Dragon.
SUMIR – The Hook That Holds.
Imagine the first light of dawn.
A gentle mist rises above the calm water as an angler prepares the tackle, feeling the excitement of the first cast.
Confidence is the most important feeling every angler should have.
That confidence is exactly why SUMIR was created.
SUMIR is more than just a brand name. It is inspired by two ancient Korean words:
- Su (수) – Water
- Mir (미르) – Dragon
Together they form SUMIR, expressing the perfect balance between nature and strength.
The characters 水龍 ("Water Dragon") symbolize the harmony between the power of nature and the spirit of fishing.
Su represents water—the element that gives life and defines every fishing adventure.
Mir represents the dragon—a timeless symbol of strength, precision, courage, and complete control.
Together they express the philosophy behind every SUMIR hook:
The strength of water. The flexibility of nature. The grip of the dragon.
Like water, SUMIR hooks perform reliably in every environment, offering outstanding corrosion resistance and long-lasting durability.
Like a dragon, they are exceptionally sharp, incredibly strong, and engineered to keep fish securely hooked, even under the toughest conditions.
We designed SUMIR by imagining the perfect fishing moment—the instant an angler sets the hook and knows with complete confidence:
The hook will not fail.
That confidence creates control.
Control creates peace of mind.
And peace of mind makes every fishing experience more enjoyable.
